Alison (she/her/hers) began her love for the arts playing the viola as a young kid and watching the 1999 version of Annie more than anyone should be allowed. Though she loved being a part of the orchestra, she knew all she wanted was to perform on stage.
Originally taking classes at Collin College in Plano, Texas, Alison decided to pursue her dream further and study in New York City at the Manhattan School of Music. She graduated May 2022 with a Bachelor of Music.
During her time at MSM, Alison was extremely fortunate to work on a handful of local workshops and readings. Shows include Radioactive (2018 Fred Ebb Award Winner written by Will Reynolds & Eric Price, directed by Sammi Cannold), Valentino (written by Douglas J. Cohen & Howard Marren, directed by Parker Esse), and One Way (written by Ben Bonnema & Christopher Staskel, directed by Shakina Nayfack). She finds these experiences to be her most rewarding and fulfilling projects as they provided the freedom to explore and gave her the honor of being a part of creating something new.
In honor of everything her mother, aunts, and grandmother have done for her, Alison has recently decided to add her mother's beautiful last name, Strange, to hers.
